Career Mentoring : Pay it Forward

As an alumnus of the University of British Columbia, I have the privilege of volunteering as a mentor for students and graduates. I benefited greatly from several mentors throughout my career, and count many of them as friends. I think transferring knowledge, values and ethics is more important to the next generation than transferring genetic material or a last name.
